Two Chimes Between Second and Third Gear
This weekend my 2000 C4 started giving me two chimes between second and third gear. I searched the forum and couldn't come up with anything. I ran diag with OBDII and no codes. On-line there was one reference to a chime due to MAF. That doesn't seem to be the issue. Sounds like the car is trying to tell me to put my seat belt on, but no seat belt light (and I do wear my seatbelt). It only does it between second and third. Was not tied to any particular RPM. First key cycle it did it the whole ride, second key cycle of the day, it didn't do it and then on the third key cycle, chimes were back. Checked brake lights, good. Car drives like a dream otherwise.

Have you checked if your speed warning wasn’t set by mistake?, check your OBC options, it maybe set to a speed that matches when your are shifting gears, assuming that your are pretty consistent on RPMs in your shift habits
