I have done some research. I just have not done the work yet.
I really like to make sure I know what I am doing before I do it.
I have read that drains get clogged. The cabin filter being one spot. It’s the first place I will check.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on where to look.
Also what is the best way to unplug them.
I break things so I need to proceed with caution.

There are some good diagrams on this here, do a search. I believe the drains are accessed from the wheel wells. You need to pull back the covers to get to them.

Unless you have a real mess the rear drains can be accessed by removing the rear speakers. My “pans” were completely full of dirt - had to break it up with a small screwdriver and vacuum it out. Then I used the weed wacker string to clean out the drain pipes. Tested by having wife pour water on the car in various places and making sure it runs out of the outlets in next to the rear tires. The rear drain system on the cabrio is amazingly complex in a Rube Goldberg kind of way - you will understand it when you see the water flow into the pan from above and then out the funnel.
Good luck!
