I was going to guess it was listed for 15k, they aren't doing themselves any favors with those pics.
That's the car. Thanks for all your input.

My last 996 was a grey/black '02 with 46k on it when I bought it. It was a nice car but I always feared the cylinders scoring and knew the more I drove it the smaller the resale market would be. That didn't stop me from driving it though. When I found this car I wasn't necessarily looking to buy a 996, but had told myself if I was going to buy another one I wanted an early car that was either a roller or had a properly rebuilt engine, and I was hoping to find one in a non standard color. High mileage is not a concern to me, I don't think the low mile cars are worth the premium people are asking.
White cars are relatively hard to find, especially if you're looking for a properly rebuilt engine. Given all the work thats been done to the car, if its in good shape cosmetically I don't see why it wouldn't be worth at least high teens.
Can you show picks of this car....my son and I were going to look at this car but it sold. Want to see what we missed....congrats on the car....Originally Posted by thebutterson
I just bought a similar car to that. 125k on the car with 40k on a rebuilt motor from 3.4 to 3.6 with nickies and JE pistons. It's a 1999 Arena Red with grey interior, all the sport options, and nice BBS wheels. $19k was our original price but I ended up buying it for $16k after the PPI found it needed a variocam actuator. The car used to be owned by the owner of a well known local Porsche shop and had the receipts for the rebuild. Keep in mind the cost of doing a build with nickies cylinders. The shop that did the engine build said they'd probably charge around $25k to have that build done these days.My last 996 was a grey/black '02 with 46k on it when I bought it.
