Old dog..new tricks
For 41 years i drove cars one way, then i started driving a 996 4s....what a life altering experience! Nightly spirited drives on twisty 2 lane roads, rarely above 3rd gear, followed by a run thru the gears on an almost always empty long stretch of highway. Rain or shine, i dont care.

There is a switch that can get flipped when you find yourself in a car that has capabilities that exceed your own. Since it seems to have flipped, I suggest finding some high-performance driver training if you have not already. I admit that it sounds douchy, but the confidence you get from knowing what the car feels like when it starts to rotate, having practiced the limits of grip when you must choose braking or steering because you can't have both, and knowing just how fast your car will "snap" once the rear end breaks free (spoiler: not nearly as fast as the hysterical Internet thinks) is immeasurable.
