Sport Classic IIs are the best looking I've seen on a 996. And they have the rare feature of being two-piece, those are real screws and the center piece comes off and wheel can be painted two colors. Don't know weight, will check next time changing tires.

Wish there was a sticky that had pictures of all wheels with names, backspacing, weight, and notes such as how it fits certain models. I barely upsized to 235/40/18s front and surprised at full lock they rub fender liners and may contact metal of upper center fenders under compression. Upsized rear 295/30/18 also may be contacting upper center fender.

Even with bigger tires they look wimpy, need to install even taller ones at least on rear. Spacers 5mm front and 17mm rear would improve looks but may make tire-body contact worse.

^^ A 1" - 1.5" drop would go a long way toward making that car look right...

Current height scrapes bad on driveway and deeply gouged under front bumper. Had to remove rubber deflectors before front tire and build a ramp where driveway meets street, and uneven rolling of fenders at the top indicates front and rear tires may be making contact with body under compression. Don't see how this vehicle could be lowered without ripping off front bumper from ground contact and bending top of fenders from tire contact. Earlier 911s seemed to fill wheel wells so much better, so perhaps a better solution for 996s is taller tires.

Constructed wood ramp to raise vehicle and stop ground contact.

I sold a set last year that were in fantastic shape with brand new tires. I had them on Craigslist for three months at $1,200 with no luck and finally sold them when I lowered the price to $1,150 (without center caps).

I had Sport Classic IIs before I got the BBS RS-GT wheels. I took them apart to refinish the barrels.

You can see more in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...onth-long.html

And here's a link to a page that has a lot of wheel info including offsets and weights: http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

That's magnificent. When we do ours at next tire change I'm thinking of metallic gold.

I agree, they look great... but they're are for NB cars so they won’t work for the OP who has a C4s.

What are the offsets on those 18" Gemballa wheels, are they for sale?
