Oddly, around these parts, the only reason to use V-Power is that it is ethanol free. The catch is that it is only 91. I find my 996 runs better on 93 (or 94) that has "up to" 10% ethanol.

I have used both seafoam and techron and find the techron works better.

I think it's not a bad idea to rotate fuel additives. I usually use Techron, but I found that Seafoam seemed to work better when I tried it. I suspect if I used seafoam regularly, I might see a bigger difference when using Techron because they all probably work a little differently and are better or worse at various types of deposits. I've used Joe Gibbs stuff also, though I don't remember the impact of that specifically. I plan to rotate going forward.

Flame suit on - there is also Marvel Mystery Oil - that stuff is magic in vintage cars. I've used it in our Audi a couple of times - seemed to work well. Not sure I'd broadly recommend it for modern cars though (although there are a ton of people who do use it every tankful on modern cars and claim it improves gas mileage).

Yup, here in California I am limited to 91.

No one has mentioned Redline yet?

I thought I read somewhere that Redline was the only approved additive...

IIRC I thought it was Techron that was approved.
