Default double row IMS in place of single row?

Please don't flog me for asking this question; I've searched the IMS bearing thread and didn't find the answer...

In all my readings over the last few weeks regarding the IMSB, I want to say that I saw a product somewhere that uses a double row bearing in engines that originally had a single row. Was I dreaming, or is there such a thing?

Thanks.

Do you plan on keeping the car long term? If yes, pony up for the IMS Solution and never worry about it again. The others all have to be replaced over time = $$$
