The strut which holds open the engine compartment lid needs to be replaced. Looking for parts online, I'm wondering how do vendors refer to the front compartment and rear compartment of these cars?

Do I want a part for the trunk or hood, which seem to be the terms used by the vendors?

Well, that's a good example of my point - the listing is for the luggage compartment, which they call the "hood".

Is that what I should expect from parts vendors?
