Default Selling my C4S

I'm losing my storage so the 996 and 911SC have to go. I listed the 996 on BAT. Not much action unfortunately. BTW, the folks at BAT are a pleasure to work with. Anyway, in case you're interested

I don't know why but I can't post the listing in the marketplace. The SC will be listed in a few weeks.

I wouldn't worry just yet, BAT auctions don't seem to really get going until the last day and typically within the last few hours of the auction. Looks like a fantastic car (funny you were looking for a silver C4s, i looked forever for a black/black c4s and had to settle for silver/blk) -- I hope you get all the money for it and the SC.

Ironically, I looked for a silver/black C4S forever and had to settle for black/black.

I really love black, it looks beautiful when clean, but it is so hard to keep that way.

I want silver and anything but gray for the interior. The black body does look fantastic but you're right, keeping it clean is impossible.

How has your experience been so far on there? Thinking of helping a client of mine list his but its always a risk with an auction like this.

BAT has been very good. They're very helpful. They even gave me some pointers regarding my photographic skills and I took a bunch more photos. I'm just terrible at it I guess.

I think I'll use them to sell my SC too. Boy that's going to be hard!!!!

Honestly, maybe a cold start, warm start, idle and/or driving video would help alleviate some of the concerns. The problem with bat is the lack of ppi or even looking the car over.

The things people are mentioning are legitimate concerns but anywhere in the low 20s would be a bargain for someone if you let it go for that.

The car I sold on BaT jumped 30% in the last hour. The BaT people were good to deal with.

A lot of nonbuyers are big commentors there, which is the downside. It’s like jerks on Craigslist offering 50% without seeing the car or merchandise for sale.

The buyer who bought my car contacted me, came and drove the car, won the auction and paid 2 days afterwards. It was super easy for me.

I think $20k is the right number given the bad carfax and given that anyone in their right mind will want to do the IMSB immediately.

20K isn't anywhere close...this is a nice, well optioned C4S. IMS or not, it is worth well more. I'm sorry about some of the commentary you have been getting in the auction. It seems like a really nice car to me.
