Tiptronic. hmmmmmm not sure I like or not. I'll give it a few weeks before I pass judgment. I keep reaching for the clutch. OMG the power is amazing. Has a Cobb tune. Absolutely hate the PCM radio. Will be upgrading that soon. Aftermarket Sirius tuner. Have no use for that so I'm pulling it and putting a cubby back in. Built-in Laser radar detector escort brand. Never had one don't know how to use it. Kind of annoying The inside rear side of the cab roof is falling apart. Florida sun must have killed them. Sport seats look nice but I prefer the soft touch leather regular seats in my C4.
Did I mention the power!

I own a 996 Turbo (soon for sale) and my premiums on Metromile for max coverages in NJ are lower than my two Honda's on Geico. Much lower.

No insurance increase for me when I went from normally aspirated to turbo but I miss the exhaust notes.

or just stay here. Lots of us who dream of upgrading to a 996TT love to hear about experiences with them. Never understood why members of the 996 forum insist on pushing 996TT owners away so quickly....

I’m not pushing away. The layout of the forums is a bit strange and it’s easy for newcomers to find the 996 forum under Watercooled and assume that there isn’t a Turbo section broken down further into model numbers.

Come on really? The PCM MOST based radios are crap? I thought it was normal safety feature for them turn off without warning.

Yeah I posted on the turbo forum also! I'm staying here and only posting on the turbo forum for turbo specific issues! I still have my 03 c4 cab. AND I like the PSE sound on the c4 BETTER than the Turbo!!
