More opinons on pricing my 996
99 C2 Coupe Manual
Ocean blue/ Savannah beige
162k miles
Body has parking lot door dings and rock chips, paint shines nicely
Previous left rear accident damage, repaired
Looks great from 10 feet +
Drivers seat has wear, other wise the interior is pretty clean
Suspension could use new shocks and struts, otherwise not bad
Radio doesn't work
brakes have basically new textar pads and rotors
Tires are old, should be replaced soon.
LSD, transmission doesn't pop out of gear
No service history other than what I've recently done:
Oil change
Spark plugs
Air fliter
SAI valves
Vacuum lines
AOS bellow
997 GT3 brake scoops
Horns
Airbag frame
Fresh emissions test

Advanced
Due to mileage and relative lack of service history you're going to be around 9-10K is my guess.

Like you said , looks good from 10 ft
At that, you might ask 14,500. and see what you responses you get. I don't think I'd sell it for 9 or 10, (more than wholesale) but I'd drive it until it drops or drop the price.
At least fix radio, I'm sure you can find a free one on the site if asked.
Other things you can't fix cheaply, or shouldn't bother, Struts, bodywork, etc..
Let's be honest, you might find a young buck willing to purchase if you stuck a sign in the window.

Thanks guys, I've had it up on craigslist and pelican as low as $8500, although it had some CEL codes from a broken vacuum line that I've since fixed. I've gotten some interest but not much.
I was expecting someone from the boxster or 944 crowd to use it as an easy step up but that doesnt seem to be the market at all.
The radio is a PCM 1 and every cheap one I've seen has the same blown backlight and no code problem mine does.

It's actually nice being able to drive around in the 996 on the down low.
