Hi, Does 996tt shocks can be installed on 996 C4S? One shock is leaking a lot and I find a set of 4, 996 turbo shocks on eBay, I'm installing my h&r springs on those shocks , anyone did this before ? C4s shocks on 996tt or vise versa?

Yes! TT and C4S are identical suspensions.

For the most part they are identical cars. Porsche just forgot to add the turbo. 😂

but yes. Suspension and brake systems are idential on both cars.

I just replaced my entire suspension on my 04 C4S. When buying almost all the aftermarket parts they all say 996 Turbo/C4S. Now i have a huge pile of 65k mile suspension parts sitting in a corner.

The stock struts/shocks are a little long for the H&R sport springs - this could be why you've already blown one of yours. When using sport springs you should also use sport struts/shocks such as Bilstein B8's - they're designed for shorter springs. Good luck

Also, look in the PET, there are different part numbers for the C4S. The Turbo shocks might work since you are using different springs, but you might want to get some help in suspension tuning with these parts.
