One of the best bargains in tires and has been that way forever. My tire brands of choice are Michelin and Continental. If you need a good deal Bridgestones. If you want cheap I strong prefer Hankook tires over Sumitomo. The Sumi designs are old and out of date compared to other performance tires. Tire tech is changing fast.

I’m just a dude from TX that doesn’t know amything though. My current Porsches are on Michelins and Contis though. Now for tires I intend to abuse.... yes I go cheap.

Do u have stock wheels? Post a pic and the part number if u do. We can figure out what size and offset u have or u can google it. I dont think i would go past a 295 on a 10" rim but there are many tire-rim calcs if u want to check what fits.

Fyi, your year car is a mk2. They all have the fenders rolled from the factory. Earlier mk1 do not.

The Sumi's will be just fine for pleasure driving...Unless your pleasure is ripping around like Mario, then the best tire you can buy would be warranted.

If you are looking for a bargain the Potenza S04 is a much newer design that the Sumitomo tires and so are Hankook ventus v12s. Tire tech changes fast.

If you can spend a bit more you will really appreciate the Conti’s or Michelin’s.

But I’m just some guy from TX. I may not know anything.
