Where exactly are you guys finding all these C4S’s with sub 100K miles for under $25K? I found exactly two nationwide on Cars.com and CarGurus.com. The market for 996 C4Ss has really dropped that low in the last few years? Sorry I’m not seeing it.

If you're in no hurry, I think you'll be able to get $30k in the spring/summer market. If you need to get it gone soon, you might be in the mid-high $20k range. Looks like a great rig, but, as a seal gray C4S owner, I might not be 100% objective. :-)

Because you don't see them for sale doesn't necessarily equate to them being worth more in my opinion. I do not see a lot of Ford Pintos for sale, but it doesn't make them worth more money. I am by no means an experts, he was just asking opinions and I gave it. If you start creeping up in to the 30s you start to get into the 997 range, which to me is why a 996 wouldn't be worth it.

My 2 cents: as a BUYER, I assume you did some research (e.g. mileage, mechanical/cosmetic shape, options, etc.) before you bought this car at a PRICE that you believed was right/fair/OK, etc.

So IMHO, use the same (similar?) thought process you used as a BUYER to price your car now as a SELLER. Best of luck!
