Default Carbon Fibre

i am hoping the guys who have spent some time working with CF. I just purchased a nice CF options for my 996. It is not without flaws. I see some cracking as I expected. Overall it’s presentable but I can be a perfectionist. Is there a process that can be used to shine it up and eliminate the cracks.
I am all eyes and ears. Help a Porsche enthusiast out.

You can polish carbon fiber like you would paint although with interior pieces you will need a polisher with extensions and small pads. You can try it by hand with a micro fiber cloth and some polish. As for cracks, generally, when something is cracked it needs to be repaired but with carbon fiber it might be easier to find another piece if it bothers you that much.

Have the parts arrived? Post good pics of the damage and we'll take it from there.
If just the clear is cracked it will be fairly straight forward. Buffing and polishing is just time consuming but very doable.
