Definitely post some pictures when you're done.
I might consider getting a set.
It would be easy to switch back and forth to change the look.

Will do! Just be glad you have a NB. You can get those for under $400 shipped. The ones for my C4S are $910 shipped. Sometimes having a WB is not a good thing.

‘Bill—Did you replace your lights with 996 lights? I saw a vid where a guy just plugged in the led’s from a 997. Mine are cracked and are on the to do list.

define pimped out. It has Apex racing wheels. The tail lights were suppose to be a light "smoke" look. I hate the out come so they are being replaced.

IMO, there's a difference between styling(nice wheels, aero kits, etc) and pimping(changing the look of the car with "bling" to attract attention). Probably a thin line for most. I think the wheels look great, but the tinted lights make it seem "questionably legal" and will attract attention.

Yes.
I originally got a smoking deal on some new DEPO LEDs but the seller never wrapped them and they arrived destroyed...Got my money back

Then a member sold me some pristine take offs from his 99. I really like the amber vs clear on my black .2.

Looks really good. Nice styling you put together. Can you share your wheel make and size please? I’m dying to get mine back from the dealer/shop.
