I have a '99 996 Cab which does not like Foxwell or Durametric (both of which i have) to trouble shoot the top, its a 99 issue it seems. So my options are pay someone to do the trouble shooting, buy lots of random parts or get a PIWIS. Borrowing one is not that fair as it seems to take hours to run just simple functions, also being in Melbourne Australia we dont seem to have too many. I have had someone plug in their unit to my car but we didnt manage to work out the issue and i used up his entire arvo!

Looking into getting a PIWIS i put a line through Aliexpress as seemed that they were not very upfront what they actually are and from reading on here narrowed it down to two options. Want to get a HDD/units and cables.

Both when you take in postage are around AUD$1,350.

Anyone purchased either, i can see mentions in other threads but little confirmed feedback?
