Default Outlaw 996?

Backstory - I went to a thing where Magnus Walker was around, spoke to him for a bit and he handed me one of his urban outlaw stickers.

I never got around to putting it on my car partially because I don't think my car is an outlaw. Having said that I do wonder how does one define an outlaw Porsche / 911 / 996?

I am curious to hear other opinions and see examples.

Well... in Spain, if you remove the mufflers for instance you are an outlaw... the same if you install lower springs and so on...so is not difficult

Now seriously talking, I see the "outlaw" like another customization trend (like cafe racer on motorbikes, for instance). It wouldnt be difficult to make an "outlaw" 996 including different elements of that custom style.

Taking parts from one model year to another makes you an "Outlaw", so does robbing a bank and not getting caught!

This Outlaw BS is so over played in the Porsche world.

Please do not associate the "Magnus Walker Urban Outlaws" with the Rural Outlaws.

It sure is nice for that 4wd 996 Turbo to pull out that John Deere.
Pulling it out in reverse probably helps with traction.

When I hear, "Outlaw 911" I think stripped down, raw.

I think the 996 CLR is an "Outlaw". There are several members here who have gone through great lengths to make their 996s louder, less comfortable and more focused.

The term "outlaw" basically refers to any car modifications that goes against what the "purists" would want you to do with it. Namely motor swaps or other non-traditional modifications.

Generally the 356 models resto modded, but I guess it could apply to any 911.
