Best price for Durametric???

Yes, it's a windows based application. That means you could run it on a Windows tablet - it doesn't have to be just a laptop.
Depends what your foxwell can do. The biggest advantage to a diagnostic tool like this is bidirectional controls. You won't see this feature in any scanner under ~$450, if that. If you want something that can do fuel trims, 02 sensor voltages, etc., but doesn't have bidirectional controls I would recommend Blue Driver for $99.

I occasionally see used Snap-On scanners that can do bi-directional for under $450.
The advantage to a Snap-On scanner is it will work for a lot of vehicles and not just Porsche.
I only use my Durametric for over-rev information.
Everything else is quicker and easier to grab my Snap-On scanner.
Although the Snap-on Scanner I use now can't be found used for under $800.
But I have an old Snap-on scanner that is worth about $350 that can do it, just a little slower and only up to 2014 vehicles.
The new one can do up to 2018.
But most cars I work on are 1990 - 2011.

Yeah, the update prices from Snap-on are ridiculously expensive.
But I don’t work on newer cars, so my newest Snap-on should last me many years.
The newest vehicle I’ve worked on the last year or two is coming on Saturday.
2012 Toyota Camry.
I also have a 2011 Toyota Corolla and a 2011 Mercedes E350 showing up as well.
Everything else this weekend ranges from 1999-2008.
Nissan, Kia, Dodge, Chevy, Toyota, Fond, Mercedes
10 cars/trucks to be worked on this weekend, that’s the most ever at one time.
Excited and stressed!

FYI, to get the 20% discount Durametric requires that the two units be sent to a single address and purchased with one payment. So if you pair up then you have to work that out between you. We completed the purchase with no problems.

With my 2005 997, I used this to read all CEL's and reset the 03XX ones I would randomly get. The free "Torque Lite" app that you get with it also gave a great deal of engine data as I recall.
You might want to see if this meets your needs before you drop a few hundred dollars into a real Durametric.

Just so you know if the price is a little bit on the high side you can always ask for a refurbished kit.
The link is at the very bottom of their models page.
I paid 200$ for mine with waranty and everything.
Hope it help

The NT530 did show internal position of door microswitches and Dura doesn't, so Foxwell does have some good features it just wasn't yet fully developed. Maybe in future they come out with NT530 Pro model like they have with their 520.

Hello, did you ultimately get the Durametric cable? I also live ineas CA, SBD county and was wondering if I could pay you to clear some fault code.
