Thanks. Of course the weather gets cold when I start doing it and I am a big baby when it comes to working in the cold. Unfortunately when its warmer work picks back up. I want to get this done so I can test out some Opti-Coat Pro on it.

Miss my C4 Cabrio.
Thanks, its a nice combo. Thankfully the interior is in decent shape. The frunk and engine bay handles are beat as well as the shifter **** but those are relatively easy fixes.

Congrats on the new ride! Great progress on cleaning that beauty up. My 99' cab is Ocean Blue Metallic. It looks like yours might be, too. The hardtop is a great option to have, even though mine spends more time in an extra bedroom than it does on the car. If you love that car now, just wait until summer. Regardless of the age of these cars, driving them and looking at them never gets old!

Was hoping to have a friend come over who wanted to check out the car and help with some paint correction but he had wedding planning to do. I did a small test spot and this thing is pretty hammered. I used some foamed wool pads and it removed 90% of the defects but I need to order in some smaller ones which should help a bit.

When are you coming to do mine??? LOL

People bring their cars to me

Here is a better look at the damage in the clear coat. I was able to get the passenger side and half the hood compounded this morning. Now its time to resume parenting duties.

Some more shots of paint correction and a little Opti-Coat Pro application. She's not quite where I wanted it but it will have to do for product testing purposes.

This is the hard top which I did not touch for comparison purposes. The pic after is the quarter panel directly below it. You can see how hammered the paint is.
