Default Question on gas flaps

Hi all,

I was just wondering if it was the case that when your car is locked, the gas flap remains unlocked? (i.e. anyone can just come along, flip it open, unscrew the gas lid and pour X liquid into your fuel reservoir?)

On every one of my previous cars, the gas flap locked with the power locks and I was just wondering why Porsche decided to leave the flap permanently unlocked?

My 01 and my 04 both lock the gas cap when the car is locked. Sounds like you should take your car to the dealer and have them fix it.

My 2003 Targa also locks with the doors. Have it looked at.
