Dates on the bottoms are 2014, but I never saw them until a couple of months ago.
I saw several locally just a few days ago after Christmas.

I want to stain the shelves today, but my wife doesn’t want me to be exposed to stain (“could cause cancer to come back”) and wants to do it for me.
It takes about a week to arrive.
I have three of them now.
There are several sizes available too.
Great info! Thanks. You have a smart wife. I've been using Varathane water-based stain+poly which works great and is (I think) a lot less problematic (being water based). It's harder to find a water-based stain only, Behr used to make it, but they stopped carrying it. I was able to find the Transporter on eBay after you provided the name, so it's on the way. Here's a photo of our homemade rack:

All four wheels Hunter Road force balanced and rotated Saturday, then today had my second free alignment at the Firestone on Culebra/1604. Firestone has a $299 lifetime alignment. I spent many hours calling around town to find one that had the right equipment for my 03 C2. Get this, the technician is Mr. Carrera, yes, his name is really Jack Carrera! (and he loves Porsche's!)
I had a Lexus LX470 I bought the lifetime alignment at Firestone for and had it done several times. They had the latest machine and when I would get it back the steering wheel was always a little crooked. Finally took it to Lexus and they said it was dangerously messed up. They are supposed to reset the stability control system and they weren’t doing it or didn’t know about it. ..and a 5-shelf display to hold my ever expanding collection of Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, and VW Hot Wheels...and a few Asian & Domestic Hot Wheels.
It needs to stained before being hung next to the other two in my office.
I'll end up with five shelves for Porsches, five shelves for BMW/VW/Mercedes, and 5 shelves for Asian & Domestics.
Here's one of my 5-shelf displays that is already stained...and full of Hot Wheels.
I'm also building a couple of new shelves for my larger Porsche models.
My old manager had the largest Hot Wheel collection in the country. He had a 2 car garage built just for them. Thousands of them and he just started selling them off a few years ago. It was amazing what some of the rare ones where worth.

I could buy multiple REAL 996s for some of the top prices.
I started collecting BMWs, Porsches, VWs, and Mercedes AMG a couple of years ago.
I now have 5 shelves dedicated to Porsches and 5 shelves dedicated to BMW, VW, and Mercedes.
The last 5 shelves are for Domestic & Asian.
Not so much Christmas but on New years day I drove up the Loch Lomond road to the 'Rest and be Thankful' pass on the way to Inverary. Beautiful day, almost completely empty roads, what a great way to begin 2019. Happy New year everyone. 2019 New Years day Scotland.

Very cool. I had to pick up a green 934 and the 2002 after looking at your photos. At first I thought it was a Datsun 510 , but then realized it was tucked in with a bunch of BMW's and had to be 2002. I used to have a "1:1 model" of a 510, but it doesn't look like Hot Wheels makes any cool 510's (from a brief eBay search at least).

I lived in Greenock in the late '80s and loved taking roadtrips. Beautiful scenery. I'll bet the drive is a lot more fun in a 996 compared to my Austin Montego.

I think M2 makes a REALLY nice 510.
