I just got this back the day after Christmas. Spun a rod bearing a year ago. 87 with a rebuilt 3.0 turbo. Been able to put 225 gentle miles on it so far. While it was gone I did the only logical thing one could do.....bought a 996.

The replacement came this morning! Just finished re-organizing all my tools and getting things more or less back together. Still need to 3d print some peg board mounts for various things like breaker bar and torque wrench.

I'll end up with five shelves for Porsches, five shelves for BMW/VW/Mercedes, and 5 shelves for Asian & Domestics.
Here's one of my 5-shelf displays that is already stained...and full of Hot Wheels.
Nice collection of Hot Wheels Porsches. What model is the flatbed VW with 356 in tow? Have not seen that one.

My son has been collecting Hot Wheels for a long time and I usually give him some special cars for Christmas and birthdays. He has too many cars and not enough racks. Surprisingly, they don't really make any nice large racks for 1:64 cars, at least not that I can find. We ended up building a 2 foot by 4 foot rack with 24 shelves. That's been full for a long time, trying to find time to build another rack.

Whoops! Posted this in the wrong thread, apologies...

All four wheels Hunter Road force balanced and rotated Saturday, then today had my second free alignment at the Firestone on Culebra/1604. Firestone has a $299 lifetime alignment. I spent many hours calling around town to find one that had the right equipment for my 03 C2. Get this, the technician is Mr. Carrera, yes, his name is really Jack Carrera! (and he loves Porsche's!)

Here’s a few close up pictures of the Porsche 356 & VW Transporter T1 pickup.
Dates on the bottoms are 2014, but I never saw them until a couple of months ago.
I saw several locally just a few days ago after Christmas.
If I run across them again, I‘ll pick one up for you if you wish.
Theyre on the unfinished shelf. (Masked and ready for stain)
I want to stain the shelves today, but my wife doesn’t want me to be exposed to stain (“could cause cancer to come back”) and wants to do it for me.
