Default Belly pan plastic

What type of plastic is the P996 belly pan made from?

I ask because mine has some small defects that I'd like to be able to fix. I was hoping to find some spare plastic of the same type, and the correct solvent / adhesive to make a strong bond between them.

I've had to replace some of the plastic panels on my car. Doesn't look like anything special is regards to the chemical nature of the panels. I'm assuming some of your panels have cracked or scratched badly? Normal glues don't work very well for these types of applications, but if you must, I'd recommend removing the panels, clean with alcohol, and applying an epoxy bonding adhesive. However, my best advice is replace the damaged panels.

I kind of want to make a custom one with as few pieces as possible. That would be an interesting project.

Most plastic automotive panels have an identifier on them somewhere that will tell you the type of plastic...

Hot melt glue works on many plastics.
