Default Worn Suspension

Guess the wintertime suspension overhaul is a worthwhile project. LOL. Next time I'll pay the premium for a well sorted car! At least in the process I am throwing on GT3 coilovers. Can't wait!

WOW! Now that is worn!

How many miles are on the car?

I hear what you are saying about paying for a well-sorted car but the one thing about older cars is it is VERY hard to find cars that have a lot of maintenance done on them. Things like older suspensions are more common than not. Personally, I like buying the biggest POS example as possible for the lowest price possible and replacing all of these items myself.

Enjoy the new suspension. Best "mods" for these cars, OEM or aftermarket, hands down!

Hey Prelude Guy. I bought the car last March with 108k on the clock. Sure looks as if there was never any suspension work done in those 108k. Bought it on Bring A Trailer and took seller's word. Oops.
I've actually enjoyed bringing the car back to life. It's truly mine now and I know whats being done is being done right!

The GT3 coilovers should be a nice touch, but judging by that LCA/wishbone it looks like you'll need way more than just shocks/struts... There was a nice full set of Powerflex bushings for sale here a few days ago - they'd probably go a long way toward making things firmer...

Most definitely dporto! Thank you. I am replacing every bushing except the subframe bushings which seemed OK surprisingly. Also adding Tarret drop links and their Gt3 equivalent sway bar. Now if I only lived somewhere I'd be able to use the car again before May!

Ha! If you're doing the work yourself, and you take your time, May might not be too far off completion!
