Default Aluminum Pedals

I have seen several parts houses with Aluminum Pedals for my 2003 Targa. Are there any REAL differences. Your thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

I got these from carnewal.com--they are exactly the same as the RUF pedals, without the logo, and $100 less:

Took about an hour. You need to be a bit of a contortionist, since the pedals are pretty far down there, but definitely worth the effort.
