Well the passenger side went quicker, but still was tough to get off.
Heres before, during and after photos.


Before

During. I used dental floss to get under the original sill so I could pull it up enough to get my interior tool underneath. Then it was a tedious push and pull to get the adhesive to release the sill.

Finally done.

I have 3 rods that fit a 3.4L.
Anybody need one?

Doh, I just bought an oil pan without the baffle last week.
It should arrive tomorrow.
Luckily I have a good baffle.

Yes, all the M96 oil pans are the same.
Boxster, Cayman, 996 all use the same part number.

To clarify they all fit - however early pans have exposed bolts and later pans do not and have additional protection around the bolts.
