I am having hard clanking/knocking noises coming from the front suspension when going over small road bumps at low speeds. My 2003 C2 tiptronic has the M030 sports suspension. i havent had a look at the suspension as yet , it has only covered 15k miles over a period of 8 years and not in hard roads etc. MY best guess is the top suspension mounts. Any suggestions/advice /tips as how to check them etc will be more than welcomed ....

I suppose I probably have to replace these and wonder if anyone knows the OEM ones and what are they and where i can get them from before i go for the Porsche ones ( which will be practically the same i suppose but with a much bigger price tag ?) .

Check that it isn't the bump stops.

I don't think it's the bump stops because those are only used when the suspension bottoms out over large pot holes. It's probably your strut mounts if you haven't changed those yet. part #997 343 018 01 for the front. 996 333 059 03 for the rear. Also, if you're doing your strut mounts you should do the strut bearings Part# 996 343 515 05.
