I've slid on black ice and lost traction - most scary experience in my 996 to date.

Be safe y'all

Also new tyres take time to bed in - i'd be betting on that being the cause

Ok, gents, after additional diag, the root cause was two fold - one was my MAF triped an error which cause the engine to hesitate and then the ABS sensor threw a code as well, after we reviewed the code and cleaned the MAF replaced the sensor, she is running great again I also believe the new tires (all the same type) Conti-Extreme Contact DSW

Im pretty sure the 235/40R18 & 295/35R18 are available in the DWS. Don't know about the 19's.
