Default Finally, cleaned up and looking purty!

Been almost a month since I picked up my 2003 996, midnight blue metallic. Spent the last two days polishing and cleaning her up!

Here's some pics of the fruits of my labor...

Before...

Before...

After...

Before painting with Tamiya primer and Gloss Aluminum...

Left Front final...

Left rear, this wheel was sooooo nasty on the inside...

Love the way it shines purple in the sun...

Best color ever (I’m biased). Looks great.

Good to see your wheel caps are pointing the right way (-) points if they aren't

Really well done, but you've got to get back in those wheel wells and get rid of the rest of that cosmoline, remove the liners and paint them with a semi-gloss black like Eastwood's 'Underhood Black'! Love the color.....

Thanks! That was by design! Did you notice that all the wheel locks are in the same position?

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! It was a LOT of work! I had to use a Dremel with a wire brush to clean up the lug nuts before painting them.

That is a unique color. At first, I thought I was looking at two different cars - one black and then one midnight blue. Wow, that is one beautiful car!

I remember when I used to have time to do that kind of stuff with my cars.
