Default Koni FSD shock kit on Carrera 4?

Curious if any C4 owners out there have tried to install the Koni FSD shocks? I want/need to replace my shocks as handling and ride quality has deteriorated since I purchased the car 17 months ago. Bounces and shakes even on the smoothest of highways. Konis seem a like a great solution but from what I can tell they are only available for the C2. Is the dampening so different that they would ruin a C4? I daily drive my car and don't go the track, so my only other serious options would be the Bilstein B4 or B6 shocks. I feel the ROW kit might be too stiff for what I'm looking for, and its $1,700 (suncoast) versus $800 for the Konis and $700 for B4's.

The C4 chassis is the same as the turbo/C4S - both heavier/stiffer, and different geometry than the C2 . AFAIK the Koni's are only designed for the C2... don't mess with suspension design unless you really know your stuff.
