Anyone interested in Air Ride?
Maybe this will be more use here than the classifieds. Putting out a feeler on my air bag kit. Fits 996 c2 . Airdynamiks fully adjustable air struts with front camber plates, airlift 3p management with viaair 444 compressor and 2.5 gallon brushed tank. Will also include all mounting so no holes are required to be drilled into the chassis.
Currently still installed in the car hence the feeler. Shoot me a pm with any questions.
Looking to get $3300 shipped obo. Everything has less than 3k miles

Pics and why are you selling it after such a short time?

Selling it because I’m selling the car and have the parts to go back to stock still. Took over 2 months for the airstruts to be made and arrive in the states. Can add more pics in the am. Tank picture is while it was being made.

How does the air suspension compare with stock, in terms of how the car corners and handles? In other words, is air suspension actually any improvement, and if so, how much? Other than cost, what are the pros and cons, performance wise?

The primary benefits are ride quality (ride like a Caddy sofa), adjustability (or firm like sport suspension), and ride height on demand.

For those of us that understand the concept of bags, can you enlighten us to the specific difference between stock and bags on a 996 C2? I do love the direct feedback of the oem suspension and just curious as to how much of this is lost?

Does Singer use Air Ride? Nahhhhh...Maybe you were just making the point that some folks think that Singer ruins old Porsche's?... Nahhhhhhh...C'mon!

The tuneability of the bags is great. It has damping adjustment for fine tuning, and preload and height adjustment are separate. Adjusting the height and air pressure can really let you fine tune what kind of ride you want as well as height.
You can have it preset to where you can ride at a much lower height without sacrificing your bumper or underneath of your car going in driveways. In other words it can be used as an air cup if desired.
The ride quality at a lowered height is much better than any aftermarket coilover option. It soaks up pretty much anything short of a Grand Canyon sized pothole. I would say handling feels just as good if not better than the H&R coilovers I had previously.
