Thanks everyone for the input. After taking some of this data back to my brother (and subsequently the ins. company) they upped their offer by almost 9K. Needless to say, he accepted. My brother is a busy guy and travels a lot, so a quick resolution was a big factor. He was prepared to accept 33 and the offer came in a few K higher.
Sad, unfortunately, as now the car will be owned by the ins. company. Not sure where the car will end up, but based on the amount of interest from people regarding parts, I'd say there will be money to be made on that side of the transaction..
Thanks again, gents.

^ almost 16K. He is not the type to part out the car himself (no room or skill in that dept to be honest..)
I could do it but space is a concern as I already have too many cars for the space I have

You should flip it for a dismantler who wants it, call one up and see what they would offer. However, $16K is on the high side and not likely worth it frankly. Just to give you context, I bought a 2007 GT3 for 13K which is much more valuable for parts to a dismantler.

^ I talked about it with him, and even reached out to one of the dismantler contacts given to me in this thread.. But the guy needed pics, which I didnt have readily available, and my bro travels a lot so not much free time to take care of the logistics. He got a fair deal, that's all he was after..

To bad, some of us could have pulled together and divvied it up...If the price was right!

Thank you for reaching out to us on this one. Still interested in purchasing for the right price, but definitely need photos to get started.
Sorry about the loss though. Beautiful spec on these cars!

Is this your brother's car? https://www.copart.com/lot/39192418
I assume it is, mileage is what you stated and in Texas. Other than the accident damage, do you know if it had any issues before the accident?
