Default Someones daily driver...

Been looking at this beauty for years, always parked around where I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and driven all year around even in the hardest winter!

If I should try the same thing the car would break down after a week!

Well, the weather looks pretty nice in your photo! Supposedly these can be very capable daily drivers regardless of the weather. A lot of folks over here drive their P-cars year round and some don't. I chose the later because I don't trust some of the idiot drivers in this area. Every year during the first snow seems like most have forgotten that snow is slick and you need to be more careful/slow down.

I live in MN and drive mine daily yearround with no issues. Swap out the tires to snow tires and all is good. These cars are meant to be driven.

+1 on daily driver. Any weather with correct rubber. If I take care of my P-car, it takes care of me. Summer PS4/winter AS3+ on my C2 6sp.

My 996 C2 did great in most weather conditions with the exception of snow being that I would always run summer tires. I would even try to make it slide a bit when the rain came down but it would still grip hard with no problem. Not sure how the RWD would do in snow with a set of winters on it but with the extra weight in the rear I could see it being done. Even some of the most capable AWD cars with summer tires on them can't handle the snow. Golf Rs come with summers on them as well as Audi SQ5s and I have heard people complain about the AWD system when in reality it is simply the tires!

I daily drive mine year-round, regardless of whatever weather mother nature can come up with.

In San Diego.

Winter drive my C2 with snow tires in the Colorado mountains and the only issue is that it sit so low that the nose plows under it if it's over 6" deep and it comes up over the windshield. Makes it hard to see and it freezes up on the wipes. Haven't got stuck yet, so traction is not a problem.

Awesome sideview photo showing 17' wheels and budgey tires. Potholes? No problems.

Daily drive a 2001 C2 Coupe in Boston/New England. The right tires makes all the difference as does knowing how to drive in the snow. Frankly, my 911 is a better daily driver than the BMW 3-series coupe, Range Rover or Saab turbo I used to drive....
