Default Replika R186 Fuchs rep wheels on a 996

If anyone cares, when I was trying to decide if I wanted to try these out I had a hard time finding any info on these.

Turns out they are made by Fastco out of Quebec Canada, but manufactured in China. They make tons of factory wheels and aftermarket. From the barrel pic the they are via and jwl certified.

The fronts are a 8.5x18 49mm
and the rears are 10x18 50mm

I went with Kumho ps91 tires and couldn’t be happier. They stick well so far.

Using a 235/40/18 in the front and kinda wanna try adding a 5mm spacer to make it closer to flush, and the tears are a 275/35/18 and look hella tough. I am so happy with how the 50mm worked out. I’m more into a functional “spirited driving car” than a show car low look.

Anyway here’s some pics.

That’s about $555 USD lol. The tires delivered from Quattro in Quebec were another $740 CND so $560 USD and Costco does a great job mounting and balancing for $60 CND. $1500ish CND all said and done.

the fronts are listed as 24lbs and the rears are 25.6lbs

they aren’t the lightest wheels around but at these prices I’m not going to complain at all.

Real Fuchs 18’s are 18 front and 19 rear at a cost of 3800usd or 4700cnd. So......

You know I never thought I would like the Fuchs style wheels on a modern 911, but both of the versions shown here look very nice. Beyond reasonable prices, as well
