Pressure plate bolt lock washers???
I'm about to install the pressure plate, so I check the Bentley manual and it says to be sure to use new lock washers under the bolt heads. I see no reference to washers in any parts list, and my old bolts had no washers under the heads. I bought new bolts from the dealer, he made no reference to washers. Is this simply an error in Bentley? |
Sounds like an error to me. No such washers even in the parts diagrams.

Agree, I went ahead and assembled the PP without washers. I did, however, add some blue loctite to the threads “just in case”. Torque value also seems low, but I could make the same statement for nearly every bolt in the engine except for the TTY applications.
