I have a 2002 Carrerra that had the L&N IMS fix installed. I am about to do the first oil change. What spin on filters do you guys usr?

I use Napa Gold 1042.

K&N Gold HP-1007

Hand tighten, plus 3/4 to 1 turn

I had trouble finding the Napa Gold filters locally so I used the Mobile 1 and K&N Gold for a few oil changes. I eventually ordered a case of Napa Gold filters online.

You can use the longer 51522 filter series if u dont mind it sticking down or if you have a deep sump

LN Engineering sells the Napa oil filters. Get yourself some Joe Gibbs Driven oil while you are at it!

If you have IMS solution your filter is a cross with a Toyota Tacoma, if you have stand alone spin on adapter your filter is Wix 51042 or cross. I can look up the wix part when I get home.

The IMS Solution uses the Wix 51348 or Napa Gold/Platinum 1348.

For the regular spin on oil filter adapter, the only filters I would personally use are:

Mann (in an emergency only)
Wix 51042
Napa Gold 1042
Napa Platinum 1042 (equivalent to Mobil 1 / K&N but better) - reduced flow but better filtration, higher burst strength

For track, only use the billet washable spin on filter adapter.
