Default Introduction

Car was delivered to me about 3 weeks ago. I have driven it about 10 miles, until yesterday when I brought it to shop for ims, rms, aos and possibly clutch and flywheel machining. It passed LN inspection protocol , so hopefully I'll get it back by end of week.

51k mile, two owner '03 targa w/X51. PSE, short shift kit, bilstien b8 with HR springs. Full carbon interior , although some is cracking and delaminating.

coming from an '85 air cooled 911, this thing is way more refined. Ability to have windows up, roof open and air on, is bliss. Performance wise, it's not even close. I loved my '85 for 17yrs. Great experience . I looked forward to learning about this new machine from these forums, thanks!

Joe

Congratulations - sounds and looks like a fine choice.

+1. The 996 offers both refinement and beast mode.
