Default Exhaust Question

Just thoughts wandering....

My 996 runs Fabspeed headers, cat bypass x-pipe, into Fabspeed Maxflo cans. I don't much care for the ear-splitting sound of open exhaust - so the current setup is great on track....very Cupish to me.

There are times, however, when the sound of my old 997 bypass pipes was fun.....

How much would be involved in adding a 'fun button' to the car? Basically - keep my setup but install something like (not necessarily THE) valvetronic that would install after the x-pipe and before the Maxflo's? Where does the vacuum line connect? I think Lowpue is doing something similar?

I have wondered about this as well. I would like to add a bypass valve to a stock muffler, kind of making a valved gundo hack.

The valve is not difficult to have welded in, you can buy them off ebay. The harder part is all the plumbing/wiring etc and making a neat job of it.
