Default What are '18" Sport Classic Wheels'?

Looking at a '99 well optioned car that originally had 18" Sport Classic Wheels painted in exterior color. The wheels were changed out for 997 wheels. If I buy this car I would like to change back to the original style.

When I search for images I get all sorts of pictures. However, there is nothing consistant.

Anyone know what wheels the car should have?

thank you

From what I’ve been able to find, it looks like the original “sport classic” wheels (BBS for Porsche) were 17”. They later made them in 18” diameter and called them “sport classic II”. Basically same wheel/same look...

These are the Sport Classic II that came on my 1999. There is/was a Sport Classic but I don’t think it came on the 996.

Thank you. With so many wheels out there it's hard to figure out "what's what"

Yup, these are them...

If anyone has a window sticker showing the price of these wheels, I'd like to see it or know the price from the factory. They are $3,600 from the dealer installed catalog (Tequipment), which is how mine were installed on the car when new.

Pic installed:

The car I am looking at didn't break out the wheel cost as a separate item. It was bundled in with the "Exclusive Options"
