Not hating on Chevy, just saying to me a cueball shifter fits in an old-school American car better than it does in a modern German car with a completely different interior design language.

What are you all using for shift boots? The stock unit? I have a Rennline ****, but the same idea. I’ve got an eBay special $20 boot which is nice, but the leather is super thick, unlike the stock thin leather. I’d rather have something more soft/supple. Any advice would
be appreciated.

I would like to add that after my post here, Luka has offered to send a replacement for my current shift ****. Got to love vendors who know how to keep their customers happy!

You can get a reasonable bespoke boot from Redline
https://www.redlinegoods.com/FlatBot...ringWheels.php

their website is a little tricky and they ship from Poland (it's over 3 weeks iirc)
I got a dark grey alcantara number for about $80
