I really had high hopes for this car but, I'm just to tall to fit comfortably so, with regrets my wife and I have decided to sell the cabriolet. It is an awesome silky smooth 2000 996 cab with only 1,842 miles. Color is Arena Red Metallic with Graphite Grey top and interior. There is more info and pics (sorry to the dial up folks - there are a bunch of pics) here:

Double wow! It hasn't even run in yet.
My cab's the same year and has done 33k.
In the "Exclusive options" you mention a "metal door insignia".
What is that?
Best of luck with the sale.

I know, the miles are almost unbeliveable. At least the first owner took it in for yearly services while he owned it. Before I drove the car from Virginia Beach to Charlotte (I put about half again as many miles on it that day as the first owner did in the 38 months he owned it - mileage was 1,280 when I took delivery) I had the oil changed. Our plan was to put an aero kit and spacers on it and drive it.
Scouser,
I'm not exactly sure, the window sticker says; "Metal Door Sill Insignia - $415"
BostonMarkC,
The house has taught me one thing about renovations. I will NEVER do it again. It was a 14 month process and our yard art (the dumpster) was picked up for the last time Christmas Eve! Next is landscaping but we'll wait until early spring to do that.
