Default Cruise Control Problem

Recently, on my '02 cab, I've noticed that the cruise control won't go on, i.e, the little green light doesn't light up. If I restart the car, the cruise control works. Second anomaly: I started off with the cruise control still on from my previous drive. While I was driving without the cruise control engaged, the green light went off at some point and would not go on until I restarted the car.

Anyone experience this or have any idea what's happening? TIA.

That's a new one for me... I would certainly take that in to Porsche.

Check all the bulbs in the high mounted brake light. All of them need to be working in order for the cruise to work. A single bulb out will cause the intermittent function you state.

I think that's it. One of the bulbs seems to be out. I knew I'd get the answer if I posted here. Now can you advise how to access the bulbs?

The bulb replacement proceedure is in your manual. If you can't find yours I'll look it up in mine foryou. I have a 2003 C4S, I assume the proceedure on the bulbs will be the same?
