Default One cylinder not firing

The saga of my rebuild continues. I am in the process of bringing a totaled 996 back to life and we are coming close to the final stages. The mechanic finally got the engine to run, but one of the cylinders is not firing. He ruled out the coil, ruled out the spark plugs and there is plenty of pressure in the cylinder.
Any ideas?
Also, anyone have a diy on headliner replacement. I think I have everything (headliner, sunroof liner and a metal rod that goes through the middle), I just don't know how the sides hook on.
Help is appreciated.

the sides of the headliner attach by hooking them underneath the plastic side moldings and then screwing them down. you can use a little bit of adhesive to hold the liner in place until you get the side moldings screwed down.
