Default So happy to be back on the road again!

The rear window regulator on my 996 cabrio went out on me during the Christmas break. Between traveling for work and trying to avoid my cold shop garage it took me the last nearly two months to get the repair completed. In the mean time I was splitting my time using our 2011 CTT and my daughter's 2005 Hyundai Tuscon.

For you guys that have to put your P-cars away for the winter, I don't know how you do it! Once I got in the seat of mine and took it out for a drive, wow the feeling was indescribable. This car just fits me absolutely perfectly. It's not as fast as the Cayenne Turbo in a straight line and sure doesn't have all of the bells and whistles but there's something about it that I can't put into words yet makes me forget how frustrated I was working on it just the night before last.

So I cleaned it up this morning and moved it from the work garage to the "clean" garage with it's younger sibling. So glad to be back in the saddle again. I know our cars get some bad press sometimes but try driving something else for a while and come back to it, you'll remember what all the magic is about and realize just how lucky we are to have these things. So what if the rest of the world doesn't realize it, it'll be our little secret!
