Default Cabriolet Top Noise

My 2000 Cab drives great and is super solid, except for the soft-top when it is up. It is very noisy. I have already cleaned and dressed the rubber and all contact areas as my dealer suggested but with no luck. I also put top half down and checked to be sure all bolts were tight.

Any suggestions? This drives me crazy!!

There are some TSBs about cab noise. Hop over to Loren's site to check em out: http://www.renntech.org/content/tsb_disclaimer.php

I had that problem with my '02 cab and it turned out to be cables in the top that were rubbing together. The dealer took care of it under warranty. According to the dealer invoice, the work done was "modify Zusatzklappe" and "repair loose cabriolet top housing." As Scouser said, there's a TSB on it
