Default 1st Cobalt projects :)

ALWAYS have to be projects right

Installed the short shifter today. Sorry no pictures.

Clear corners, Painted plugs and Painted lower front.

Got too cool to do the sides tonight but that will happen this weekend. Got the paint kit from paintscratch.com Always a great color match. I will need to buff in the next 4-5 days.

Nice work. I've seen you paint the lowers in the past. Always looks good on the 4S/TT package. A must do aesthetic mod in my opinion...

Tim do you do your own painting or do you take it somewhere? There are a few YouTube DIY'ers that do their own painting and now it has my gears going..

I do it myself. It is all rattle can stuff for the lowers. I have found that prep and patience is key. Paintscratch.com has a kit with cleaner, adhesive promoter etc. I always buy an extra color can as one will not do it. Plus you want a bit extra for touch ups.

That's cool - I always take things too far so I got an air compressor for my birthday (for all sorts of projects,) and now I'm looking for a good paint gun attachment for it. I think "patience is key" will be the key phrase for either application, though.

The adhesion promoter and primer set up pretty darn quick. The color takes a bit longer and the clear the longest between coats. I am no pro in ANY way but that is what I have found.
