Default Turbo/C4s bumper on C2

Hey all,

I know this topic has been explored somewhat through my own research but I cannot find a definitive answer on how this would work. I have a 2004 targa with the stock C2 font bumper which I am less than a fan of aesthetically. I've seen other people with turbo bumpers on their C2s and their Targas and I wanted to know where people thought I could potentially get the best deal on a new front bumper as well as the potential time/labor that would be needed to install. I have seen some people say that it bolts right on and others say that there is some fabrication needed, and was hoping to get some clarification before diving into this project in the coming days and weeks.

Thanks in advance for all the info!

Front ends are the same width for mk2 C4S/TT vs. C2. The ductwork isn't a precise fit, but many report no issues with operating temps with a C4S bumper on a C2.

If you can operate a screwdriver, you can swap bumper skins on these cars.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

Thanks everyone for the information, I really appreciate it. Also thanks b3freak for the before/after photos, I was planning on adding the same side skirts to compliment the new front end as well so its nice to see the finished product before I start!

I'm playing with the idea of Turbo front bumper, side skirts, ducktail coupe. Am I craycray?
