Hi guys, new in the Porsche world. I had a PPI done on a 2007 Carrera S and this is what came back. Apparently it has only 24k miles on it however the outside and some places inside it looks more like a 50-70k car. Does it look good ? Odd ? Thanks

FWIW and i'm not sure if its already been mentioned here but the window Porsche use is <150 hours.
So if the over rev happened <150 hours ago there is cause for concern >150 hours then they say the engine "should" be okay.
There is a maximum number of type 1's that can be recorded: 65535
Note: if the car has had a flash tune to raise the rev limit then it will keep recording these.
2nd poster the revs look okay although someone caused a type 2 in the last 19 hours, although because its a 997 the scale stretches so a type 2 in a 997 is not the same as a type 2 in a 996.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum so hello!
I need some urgent advice from those more in the know than myself. I am looking to purchase a 2002 996 C4S and the engineer has sent me the results of a rev range check which mean absolutely zero to me! Can please someone in layman terms tell me what it means and if I should be concerned??
It shows Rev Range 1 '4015' and Rev Range 2 '3'.
I would really appreciate some light on this.
Thanks, Ben
