I've had a pair of ContiSportContact 2 rears for my Cab on order since October, and was expecting delivery this week. Now I find out that they won't be delivered until January now. Seems that there was a fire at the plant in Germany, and everything is backlogged.

Oh well, at least it is happening when I don't drive the car that often.

That could explain why the other N2 tire vendors are back logged as well. With one vendor out of the game, the rest probably did not plan capacity to take up the slack.

 

At 8000k miles my factory conti's were so noisey they took them back. Seemed to know of the problem.
